Management Software Package. The package is designed in
a special architecture so that the user can operate it
with minimum computer knowledge. Tool Tip Text as well
as inset helps windows guide each operation. The package
is fully customizable to be used for Banking
Organizations as well as Para-Banking Organizations.

Overview
of SST Bank Manager:
CUSTOMER
ACCOUNTS
1.
Account
Number:
a.
Each
account will get an 11(eleven)-digit unique system
generated account number.
b. First
two digits will represent branch/area code and next two
digits represent deposit scheme.
c. All
running accounts that exists before computerization will
also get a new 11-digit account number, but those
accounts can be accessed through their old manual
account numbers as well as the new ones.
d.
The
account numbers are system generated to avoid human
error. The above format of account number also helps to
maintain uniqueness while core banking. Hence, customer
accounts can be accessed from any branch independent of
the branch to which it belongs.

5.
ACCOUNT
OPENING & CLOSING:
Account
opening and closing depends on the Term & Table of the
deposit scheme. While opening an account the rate of interest
and other terms are checked in the latest Term & Table. If
there is any change in the rate of interest or rules of
deposit schemes it will be reflected in the new accounts only
which were opened after the latest change. It will not affect
the accounts opened earlier. The old accounts will follow the
Term & Table that was available at the time of its
opening. However, the deposit schemes can be customized
individually to follow the Term & Table according to
requirement.
6.
LOAN ACCOUNTS:
Each
loan A/c will get a unique system generated loan account
number. Records of various types of security can be kept in
the database. It should be noted that the software package is
capable of storing multiple security for a single loan.
Provisions are there to validate what amount of loan may be
granted against security. The package also provides the
facility to check that if an account is provided (say a fixed
deposit A/c) as security to a loan account, then the security
account cannot be closed until the loan is recovered or
replaced by other security. Loan interest or E.M.I. etc. can
also be maintained by the software package. The package comes

Other type of loan schemes can be added or deleted
according to requirement. Similarly, interest rates, E.M.I.,
interest calculation formula, Late Penalty, Processing Charge,
and Bond etc. can be maintained separately for different loans
scheme. The software package provides complete flexibility to
customize the loan schemes.
7.
CASH COUNTER
1.
PAYMENT
In
case of withdrawal the clerk can check the particular A/c of
the customer and can update the ledger of that account
depending on the cheque/voucher tendered by the customer and
the deposited amount. The customer will be given a token. The
passing officer can check the transaction, signature etc. and
authenticate the transaction by his password. The passing
officer can cancel the transaction at any time if required.
Once the transaction is authenticated the teller at the
payment counter can access it by the token number. On typing
the token number in the specified field, the account details
of the particular account as well as the amount to be paid for
the particular transaction will be displayed in the screen.
The teller can complete the transaction by clicking the DONE
button followed by his password. The system will display a
message “Transaction Completed Successfully” and update

2.
RECEIPT
In
case of receipt the cashier can receive cash under any head.
If cash is received against a customer A/c, then the
individual ledger of that particular A/c will be updated. For
every transaction the teller has to be authenticated by his
password. After any transaction the RECEIPT SCROOL will be updated.
VOUCHER
ENTRY:
After
the business time various vouchers related to different
transactions and various General Ledger Heads can me entered.
All these entries will be stored temporarily until daily
closing. The software package provides the following voucher
entry facilities:

CLOSING:
After
all the transactions and voucher entries are over, the system
will automatically generate printable a Daily
Statement Report. The day’s full transaction details
will be reflected in this report. It will have a payment side
showing all the cash payments as well as transfer payments to
different GL Heads. Similarly the receipt side will show all
the cash receipts as well as transfer receipts by different GL
Heads. The report will also show the Day’s Closing Cash in
Hand.
GENERAL
LEDGER POSTING:
If
the Daily Statement Report is correct, the GL Posting can be
done simply clicking the POSTING
BUTTON.
SECURITY:
The
database is protected by multi level password authentication
system. Each user will get a user account identified by a User
ID and a password. Depending upon the designation or job of
the user the administrator can grant privileges to the users,
which are fully customizable. The user can access only that
part of the database for which he has got privilege. Any
transaction/modification made by the user is recorded by the
package. So he/she can be traced at any time.

installation process with the help of wizards.
