The college
Automation 2009 is developed after prolonged case study
in some prominent colleges of Assam.
The following
modules is included in the software:

Student Module:
a.
Registration: Registration of student can be performed.
Software will automatically generate SID(
Student Identification No.) which is unique throughout
the academic session. Old student information can be searched by the
SID no.
b.
Student Records: After registration of student, user can fill up the personal
details of the student. Subject combination can be
filled up from the drop down menu. Student marks for
terminal and test examinations can be entered and mark
sheet can be generated. Students extra curricular
activities can be filled up. Registration no. of
University/ Council
can be filled up.
c.
Update Student Records: Any types of wrong entry can be rectify using the module.
d.
Student's attendance: Attendance of student can
be filled up and report can be generated.
e.
ID Card Generation : Student's Identification Card can be generated after
viewing the payment status.
EMPLOYEE MODULE:
a.
Employee Details: All types of employee (
Teaching, Non-teaching, others) can be filled up by
designation and department wise.
b.
Salary Details: Employees salary can be generated
using this modules. User can filled up the salary amount
, deduction amount, investment amount in the salary
structure and print the pay slip.
c.
Wages Details: Other than teaching/
Non-teaching staff’s wages can be generated using the
module.
d.
Edit Employee Details: Any kind of wrong data
entry in employee details can be rectify using the
module. One new feature SERVICE BOOK is added in
the module. The service book is required to send to
University/ Council monthly/yearly.
e. Employee Attendance Entry: Attendance can be
registered individually using their respective password
within a stipulated time. After that time no attendance
can be entered and it can be treated as absent or leave.
REPORTS:
a.
Service Details: Service book report can be seen
using the module.
b.
Employee List: Employee list can
be generated.
c.
List of Students: Student’s list can be viewed
in the following manner---
Shift wise, Caste wise, Male/Female wise,
Major Subject wise, Subject Combination wise, Registration No. wise, Religion wise
student list.
GENERAL ACCOUNTS
& INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
The software covers
complete accounts of college.
a.
Cash Receipt: any types of cash can be received
by selecting
Account Head and Fund Name.
b.
Cash Payment: Any types of cash payment can be
made using the feature.
c.
Fee Receipt: It is the most important part for Fee collection in colleges.
Selecting fee collection, the required fund name will
display in the grid and user can enter required fees.
Flexibility is there to change the fee amount.
d.
Post to Cash Book: All the days transaction can
be posted to the cashbook pushing the post button. Hence
the cash book is updated.
e.
Cash Book Status: Cash Book status can be seen
using the feature.
f.
Create Heads: Account head can be created using
the feature.
g.
Fund Opening Balance: Fund opening balance can be
entered by selecting the required fund and amount.
h.
Cash in Hand( G Fund): General Fund balance can
be viewed using the feature.
i.
Create Funds: Fund can be created using the
features.
j.
Fund Status: After days transaction
debit/credit side of all the funds can be viewed using
the feature.
k.
Fund Transfer: It is an important module in the
software. Fund can be transferred from one fund to
another fund using the feature. Whenever we select a
fund, the net balance automatically show and become
easier for user to see the balance amount.
l.
Cheque Payment: Selecting Fund name, the
requisite bank name will automatically show and payment
can be made by cheque.
m. Cheque
Receipt: Selecting Account head, the required fund will
automatically highlighted and payment can be received
using the feature.

MODULE
a. Entry of Books, Magazine, Journal
b. Opening stock entry
c. Issue and return of books.
d. Search facility.
e. Reports
SETTINGS:
a.
Academic Session: Session can be created using
the feature.
b.
Create Courses: any course can be created using
the feature.
c.
Create streams: streams can be created using
the feature.
d.
Fee setting: Fee can be created selecting Account
Head and amount in the respective box. Any time user can
change the fee amount.
e.
Create Subjects: Subject can be created using the
features.
f.
Create Dept. & Designation: Department and
designation can be created using the feature.
ADMINISTRATION
OPTIONS:
a.
User Management: New user can be created with
password and existing user can be deleted. Privilege can
be permitted depending on responsibility and
designation.
b.
Modify DA/ADA details: Employees DA/ADA can be
modify using the feature.
c.
Backup of Database: Database backup can easily
be done by single clicking.
d.
Retrieval of Database: Database can easily be
retrieve by single click.

Software
Computers
are simply tools that offer the opportunity to collect
and store enormous volumes of data, process business
transactions with great speed and accuracy, and provide
timely and relevant information for management.
Unfortunately, this potential has not been fully or even
adequately realized in most businesses. Even amongst
educationist a communication gap has always existed
between those who need the computer and those who
understand the technology. Bridging this gap and putting
computer-based management of college management we at
SSTech have created College Automation 2009.
A
software based college management system created
uniquely for administration of a college and its entire
facilities. The whole package was a creation putting in
thousands of man-hours of coding and testing -Creating a
college management system wholly integrated for various
end user applications with user-friendly screens -And
for using it, one does not require exhaustive and
time-consuming training sessions.
The
whole system is integrated in such a way with security,
such that a user (Office staff, Faculty and student)
based on their privileges and requirements can add,
modify, or, view records for their day-to-day use. The
whole management system is sub divided into modules,
with an administrator giving privileges to their
designated user authentication. The users on his behalf
can then log on to his particular session and use the
facilities and records as per their requirements and the
privileges.
Finally,
the successful operation of the software increases work
efficiency, reduces unwanted burden, provide data
security and maintain a well-disciplined environment.
